GI Coils

Corrosion-resistant, hot-dip Galvanized Iron (GI) Steel Coils engineered for HVAC ducting, roofing sheets, cable trays, and outdoor architectural cladding.

Applications:

  • HVAC & Air Distribution Spiral ducting, rectangular air ducts, air handling units, and ventilation casings.

  • Roofing & Cladding Profile Sheets Roll-formed trapezoidal corrugated sheets, standing seam panels, and metal roofing accessories.

  • Electrical & Cable Management Perforated cable trays, ladder channels, trunking systems, and electrical enclosure boxes.

  • Automotive & Appliance Manufacturing White goods paneling, agricultural storage silos, steel doors, and light-gauge framing profiles.

Galvanized Iron (GI) Coils are continuous steel sheets coated with a protective layer of zinc through a hot-dip galvanizing process. This sacrificial zinc coating provides exceptional resistance against atmospheric corrosion, rust, and chemical exposure, drastically extending the service life of the steel in harsh outdoor and humid indoor environments.

Sourced from accredited global mills and fully stocked at our Sajja yard, our GI Coils strictly conform to international standards including ASTM A653, EN 10346 (Grades DX51D, S250GD, S350GD), and JIS G3302. Delivered with complete EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates (MTC), they are supplied in various spangle finishes (zero, minimized, or regular spangle) and zinc coating masses (Z120 to Z275). They are essential for HVAC duct fabrication, roofing profile sheet roll-forming, cable management systems, and home appliance manufacturing—available with custom slitting and cut-to-length sheet processing.
