Universal Columns (UC), often referred to as H-columns or UC sections, are structural steel profiles designed primarily to carry high axial compression loads. Unlike Universal Beams, Universal Columns feature a squarer cross-section with nearly equal depth and flange width, providing exceptional resistance against buckling and torsional bending under heavy vertical stress.

Sourced from certified global mills and maintained in stock at our Sajja yard, our Universal Columns meet strict international standards (such as EN 10025 / BS 4-1) and come with EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates (MTC). They serve as core vertical supports in multi-story commercial buildings, industrial plant frameworks, heavy equipment foundations, and infrastructure projects—available in standard lengths with optional custom saw-cutting, shot-blasting, and shop priming.
